TORI AMOS

Today I wanted to write about Tori. Not many people are familiar with her work and music even though she has been out for a long time and has put out many recordings.

I was first introduced to Tori in my late teens/early 20's with her recording of "Little Earthquakes". With me and so many other people, this albumn was inspirational, different, ahead of it's time..... The words, emotions and music were so prolific that you could feel her pain, sorrow and happiness in the music.

Through out her career, there have been a few really good albumns and some that I am not fond of, but nothing has moved me as much as that first CD and to this day...I still listen to it like I was for the first time.

Tori also puts on an incredible stage performance. If ever you have the chance to catch her LIVE...It is a must and you should.
