AFTERGLOW

For the first time in several years, the five Glowheads were together again !

Last Week (Left to right) Stephanie "Peppa", Al, Jay, Rich and Danielle got together at my house for wine and take out Thai food. It was great !

We laughed so hard that our stomach's hurt, it was great to see my ole band mates and just hang out.

You don't realize how much you miss someone until you see them after a long period .

This picture is actually an old picture that I found on my lap top because Jay hasn't sent the new one's out. Pffffffft Jay ! LOL

This picture was taken maybe 3-4 years ago at the Legendary "Stone Pony" club/bar in Asbury Park NJ. We played there that night and had a great gig.

Anyhoo, I am so glad that we all got together and hung out and had fun and talked about old times, new times and future times.....I just want us to continue this and to never stop being friends. Whether or not new music continues...."We'll see", but at least we all rekindled the ole' bond and friendships.

I got to thinking about 2005 and how great of a year it was and thought I would list my favorite things that happened to me and/or world news that I think was in my top 10!

3. LOST season II. Best show on TV
4. Birth of my third Godson Shane Conover
5. First x-mas in our new house with all of our families together under one roof
6. Ipod...Where would I be without it ! Best invention since sliced bread ! Makes the train rides bareable.
7. Slowly inching towards inner peace and understanding where my faith stems from
8. Finding a super duper massage therapist...... LEONID !
9. Going on our two year reunion cruise with Melissa and Erika.....Best gal pal's ever !
10.Magic eraser - IS the BOMB...if you have never used it, you must ! These little cleaning sponges clean everything from dishes, floors, walls to cars....It is insane what these can do!

BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN

Last night John took me out for my birthday. First we went to an incredible Italian restaurant in Red Bank called " Buona Sera "http://www.buona-sera.com/

I had Vealn Milanese which is one of my favorite Italian meals, it was literally the best I ever had and was prepared much different with many different cheeses and vegetables...It was an excellent meal !

I have been wanting to go there for such a long time and it set the mood for a perfect evening.

After dinner we went to the Red Bank Theatre to see "Brokeback mountain".

All I can say is "WOW" ! This movie is literally one of the best movies I have ever seen. The movie is set in Wyoming and Texas in 1963. These two ranchers meet while working as sheep herders in a mountain range called "Brokeback Mountain". They fall in love, but being the time period and the place it is forbidden.

They go on with their lives yearning for eachother because their love is so strong.

The movie is an extremelly powerful movie and will definitely bring a tear to your eye. Although it is a love story between two men, this kind of love can be shared between anyone and is the meaning of true love.

I highly recommend everyone to see this movie because it is THAT good. Heathe and Michelle Williams should win tons of awards for their rolls and this should win for best movie of the year "In My opinion".

HAPPY 2006 to everyone !

New Years was a fun night...we had some friends and family over to bring in the New Year. My friend Theresa was ill so she was not able to partake in our New years festivities which was a bummer because she is my drinking/dancing buddy. But we still had a fun time.

Before we all partied at our home, we went out to dinner for steaks at a really nice casual restaurant called the Grist Mill...John and Syn had these Gigantic steaks ! http://www.gristmillrestaurant.net/htm/menu.htm

Soon is my Birthday..January 6th ! Not sure what I will be doing but i am sure it will be mellow. I will be 36 years old. We were invited to go to a club for my B day because my friend Christiana's B DAY is on Jan 7th. We'll see what we do.
